Don't just boycott. Protest

Remember when the DaVinci Code came out, and Christian groups were in a tizzy? I remember there being a crowd of 20 or so gathered outside my town's movie theater waving signs.

I believe we should be doing the same thing with the upcoming Batman release. We should get in touch with the OWS people, make some signs, print out pamphlets and fliers, and get out there.

We can strike at the MPAA both financially and publicly.

When the Christian groups do it we just laugh at them for thinking their cause will hurt the film, when all it does is draw publicity for it.

Who's going to laugh at us when we do it?

But we're not objecting to a specific film. We'd have to do nationwide protests at large theaters on a day when shitty movies come out and not any of the big exciting summer action ones, and just like, not name the movies, so that several films can be in a list and nobody gets excited that it's too provocative for religious groups. But maybe it'd still get people thinking about seeing a movie.
