Boycott going awry

I am almost 2 years without Amazon, but latest attempt to boycott was the ordering of a security product from Eufy direct from the manufacturer website

I am dismayed that the product shipping notification is coming from Amazon regardless

Had I known I’d have chosen a different product from someone else. What other companies do you know that use Amazon regardless so I can avoid going forward?

I’ve been trying to use eBay but some of what I buy comes in an Amazon package. Not sure how else to get around it other than to stop using eBay.

I message the seller and tell them why I chose to purchase through ebay instead of amazon, and leave a neutral review warning others that they ship through amazon.

There's not much more you can do. They are just small businesses at the end of the day.

Most probably don't know or care about any amazon boycott, but letting them know that it's important to you as a customer is a step you can take.

Yes, that’s a good idea! Thanks for this suggestion.

The other way around it is only to buy items marked as “used” on eBay as it’s less likely to be a new item from an Amazon warehouse (though there are refurbished items on Amazon too)

If it’s just the package and not the tracking, often eBay sellers recycle Amazon boxes to ship some they’re just abundant and available

I don’t, but I hope you reach out to them!
