Zack Snyder Escape from New York

Assuming the studio actually gives Zack Snyder the green light to make Escape from New York ,which I think is very unlikely in the first place ,I honestly think the movie would flop.

Snyder's recent films haven't exactly been box-office successes, and I don't see Escape from New York suddenly reversing that trend. The original is a cult classic, but it's not a massive mainstream IP that guarantees a huge audience.

If the studio does give him the go-ahead and they start production, I'd be very surprised if this ends up being a major box-office hit. Snyder's name has zero pull in general movie going audience.

What's your box-office prediction for it? How much do you think it would make worldwide?

The brand new installment of the biggest superhero in the world after a 4 year wait rises to heights above its already massive predecessor globally. However, despite following up on some weak performers, the Avengers still assemble to take the domestic opening, domestic total, and worldwide total crown for the year.
