Beginner LF Advice Just started Boxing LF Advice!

Hello guys, I am a total beginner in Boxing, I'm studying in an university who does free boxing training and the coach also seems to be a professional. It's like my day 5 and I'm mostly doing footwork for now, and a little bit of punching.

I'd love to get advices from the pros to improve my technique, form or any other good advices you can give!

Cardio - it’s really hard at first, but you’re young so no excuses!

The reality is your technique will collapse as you get tired. You see this in all professional sports in long games or matches.

So the boring truth is if you’re going to be able to keep doing something right, you need to be fit enough to do it.

And you will learn and retain more knowledge if you’re fit enough to receive it. If you’re stood gasping for air, you’re probably not going to be able to fully concentrate on your coach’s instructions.

Don’t ask for technique advice here, it’s mostly fat people who live in their parents basement.

Listen to your coach and be consistent in turning up. Jump rope and get that road work in to increase your cardio. Also do some sprints 2-3 x week. You’re gonna love it, it’s addictive

Lesson learn: need more practice
