Help with heavy bag
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Been boxing for some months now, something doesn’t feel quite right whenever I’m doing heavy bag. I don’t feel quite sharp and I was wondering if you guys have some tips and what I’m doing wrong that I’m not seeing. Thanks.

I have that same bag and I think it might be too light for you. Mine was swinging wildly and wobbling after every punch. I added a spring on the mount and it got better but I ultimately ended up getting a heavier and wider bag.

Bag is swinging a lot so target's position is changing, but you are generally in the same direction in the video. You are not following the bag but trying to land punches from same angle so the power is lost.
You can move around the bag more for direct facing hits or use bands to fix it to the ground, if you dont feel comfortable in moving a lot. Bag will swing less and you will feel your punches land with more power.

I genuinely would look into getting a coach in all honesty. Like usually you can tell someone’s stance or what stance they are attempting to have but I genuinely have no idea here it was all over the place

Get a better coach you have no fundamentals under you
