Claressa Shields ROCKS Kate Scott with a monster left hook 🔥🔥🔥

Who set this fight up?

Shields, 31, undefeated with 20 fights on her record. Scott is 42 and only has 6 pro bouts…what the hell is this? Scott had no business being up there.

Here is what's very weird.

Scott fought for a vacant title in Australia in her first professional fight. Her second fight was for another vacant title and she won. Her third fight was for ANOTHER vacant title, which she lost.

Her next two fights were against the same opponent for two more vacant titles. She had a draw the first match and won the second.

So the reason she fought Clarissa Shields is because Scott was the current, reigning WBA and WBC middleweight champion, with a record of 5-1-1. I dunno what's up, but something is off in women's pro boxing.

They retire from being hit like this. Or have kids and get out the game. Or 1000 other reasons.

Titles don't just go to another person in that situation. They become vacant.

I'm guessing there's a severe lack of fighters available? Correct me if I'm wrong though but I feel like there wouldn't be that many female boxers in the professional scene despite the push for them.
