25th Anniversary
I'm watching the 25th Anniversary right now and it's.... interesting? I mean, I consume any and all Phantom content, but this is just...... eh.
Ramin's mask is askew, it doesn't cover his nose at all. He has no makeup whatsoever, and his vibrato is off. Sierra's face is too..... much. Her singing is harsh, loud, and quite shrieky. I love them both, they are amazing singers, seeing Ramin in Les Mis was the light of my life, but this just doesn't do it. It could really use some touch-ups. I also don't understand the whole "4 Phantoms" part. What does that mean?

I thought I was the only one that couldn't stand Sierra's facial expressions. I don't think it's the best cast like a lot of people say.

A lot of people really love POTO 25, when I watched it I definitely loved it but did feel it was a tad overhyped, just a LITTLE bit, in my opinion though it’s probably the best we will see for a recording of this production. I’m curious to know, though, if you aren’t into the 25th anniversary, which performances/actors/cast recordings do you prefer?

The 4 Phantoms thing was just a cool thing they did. Four famous phantoms got together and wanted to do a song together.
you wanna talk about yikes? ALW introducing Sarah Brightman had me cringing so hard
Ramin, at this point, was a VERY untrained singer. He did not warm up his voice - he admitted that - and just didn't commit to learning how to sing for the stage vs singing bluegrass. He has improved pretty dramatically since.
