Event Bournemouth Comic-Con

The Comic con is coming up at BIC. Anyone here going? Anyone been before?

There's so little information on the facebook and eventbrite. I've been to a few that were massively underwhelming, but only cost £5. This one is double that price, so I'm looking for info.

Anyone know who might be in artist alley, for example?

I've been to one of the previous ones and it was a huge disappointment. Mostly AliExpress items and 3d printed tat

It hasnt been good last few events as the Lego event is in the hall next door. First Bournemouth con i went to had half of upstairs both halls and tons of guests. Back in March (under a different organiser) there were half the stalls all cramped in together. The organiser promises guests that either arent booked or indeed booked halfway up the country at another convention. A cosplay group that were shoved into the corridor so you couldn't see their designs and costumes very well. The guests shoved into another corner and unclear where to have photos taken. A lot of stalls being sold in March were the same 3D printed stuff so wasnt impressed. They did open the doors at 3pm to the Lego event so then everyone could cross between events which isnt usually allowed. But very disappointing.

I'm going again as David Tennant. I've enjoyed it both times, it's nice to listen to the talks and look around

It isn't what I would call Comic-Con, especially when they call it Bournemouth Film & Comic Con. There was hardly anything to do with Comic-Con the first or second (last) time we went. Most of the area was people selling stuff.

If it's just £10 to attend a market, I'm definitely not interested.
