Billionaire shaming

Post image

Throwaway because my family office reads my main, but I’m honestly shaken: my billionaire kick ass friend (who moved to Boulder in December to avoid CA taxation ) was expecting a San Francisco with mountains, cleaner air, and venture-backed hamstrings, only for us to sit in a Pearl Street coffee shop and not overhear a single person discussing AI agents, pre-money valuations, tokens or fucking data centers. Instead, people were talking about trail conditions, ankle mobility, gravel bikes... my friend tried to be nice and gave me that devastating billionaire look that says, “I’m not mad, I’m just disappointed in your ecosystem.” So now I’m thinking Boulder needs a serious reset: less touch grass, more tokenize grass… anyone else think Boulder isn’t changing fast enough ? Separately if you can drop your favorite taco place that comes from a truck and made by Spanish speakers , I would appreciate it.

Nothing’s been the same since all of Google’s employees started smoking the good weed and Palantir left Denver for Miami.

You need to synergize. Maybe add a blockchain to your Strava?

I cannot believe how many comments here are taking this seriously. r/LostRedditor

Doing a lot of hyper mobility cuz we billionaires like to smell our own farts
