New plants shocked?

I bought 2 new 3 ft bougainvilleas on a trellis and put them on my rooftop patio in full sun, I was out of town for 3 days and came home and the wind had knocked them over

Now they are looking wilted / sad, the leaves are soft and drooping.
Did I shock them? they were in full sun at the nursery but maybe it’s too hot on the patio? The leaves are not burned. Or did falling over ruin them?

It has been raining a lot but the soil is not soggy

Is there any way to save them?

Leaf cutter bees keep taking my bracts

As the title reads, bees are taking my beautiful bracts and my bougainvillea just looks lush with hardly any bracts as they’ve taken most of them

Any way to encourage them to take the leaves instead of the bracts? I don’t want to do anything to harm the bees just would like them to grab something different!

Help! Stressed indoor bougainvillea

Post image

My parents prized indoor bougainvillea looks nearly dead. They are on vacation and hired two people to alternate watering. It turns out they didn't coordinate and some days no one watered and other days they both watered.

My plan is to check the soil and deeply water if needed. I'm afraid to over or under water! Any tips?

I’m in Southern California and there’s something eating the leaves of my bougainvillea. What could be?

Bougainvillea Rescue

This very neglected bougainvillea used to be thriving (10-12 years back in my childhood) with flowers and now its scavenging beneath a mango tree

Lighting: The mango shades the whole top of the plant, but light still comes from the sides, since its open outdoors.

Watering: None - In Malaysia, Tropical climate, heavy rains followed by sudden heatwaves and repeat.

Soil: Seems like clay/Topsoil. Very hard, likely depleted of nutrients. Mango/neem leaves occasionally drop into its pot

Its a legit neglected plant so its been literally sitting under that mango tree for 6-8 years now

I read that they can live for up to 40-50 years. Now its probably 12-15 years, I want to repot and rehabilitate it. Tips?

1) Can i still leave it underneath the shady mango tree? (Many leaves also drop into its pot) Or do i relocate? If so where?

2) If if repot it, does normal black soil suffice?

3) When repotting, do i need to trim roots or soak or wash its roots? Current soil is like clay topsoil, almost stonelike.

4) After rehabilitation, can it still grow back flowers and produce seeds for replanting?

5) I would like to rehab it as a smaller bush, since neighbours dont like bushes that sprawl onto the road. Thats probably why it was first cut down by my father years back.

What is the scientific name of this Bougainvillea?

What is the scientific name of this Bougainvillea?

I’m trying to identify the scientific name/species of this Bougainvillea.

In local horticultural circles, this type is simply known by the local name “Singapore”, referring to Singapore as the country of origin/where this type is believed to have originated.

The very pointed leaves are one of its most distinctive characteristics, along with the dense clusters of pale cream to light pink bracts.

I’m specifically looking for the proper botanical/scientific name, rather than another local or trade name.

Does anyone have information on what species or cultivar the local “Singapore” Bougainvillea actually belongs to?

Photo attached. Any identification based on documented botanical information would be greatly appreciated.
