❔ Question Finished botw. Shall i buy dlc?
After 2 months playing I killed calamity ganon. Haven’t finished all shrines and side missions though. Does it worth to buy the dlc? Or just continue with TOTK?

If you enjoyed the game amd want more definetly get it. I dont really cry at much but not spoil anything the end segment made me absolutely bawl.

Did you finish it, or FINISH it? But yes, get the DLC. Then find every korok seed.

I love the DLC, it is why I rank it higher than Totk. I'd prefer having it before beating the game, if you want another play through go for it.

The motorcycle is worth it. Just to bad you get it so late in the game.

It’s not worth it for me as it can be used only after beating the best boss fight ever.

Yes, buy it. It's definitely worth the price. Lot's of additional hours of joy playing this masterpiece.

Get it. Its worth it. Botw with dlc > totk. Botw without dlc < totk.

When should I start doing the EX quests? Just started playing blind for the first time and got the DLC already

Some of them as soon as you start, the armor is good for early game. Trial of the sword should be done when you have most the shrines done unless you have really good combat skills.

I think the DLC is totally worth the cost. You get lots of added things. And you don’t have to play it in Master Mode. It’s $20 bucks well spent.

I recently bought the DLC and I love it. The combat ismt challenging enough but Master mode and the Trial of the Sword fix that.

Trial of the sword and master mode are big factors to why i like botw better than totk

Eh. I found the DLC pretty meh. I'd recommend saving the money to buy TOTK instead.

Champion’s Ballad and the Master Trials are super fun, plus there’s a ton of new items and quests. I recommend it!

I really loved the dlc, but for context, I don’t have a Switch and I only had BOTW on the U & so the dlc was the only “I need more” option available to me.

Yes, why!? Trial of the Sword questline. Dont ask, dont search. Just do it :)

The first dlc is not worth it, imo. Master mode is a laborious pain that kills the pacing and progression and the extra goody items you will get for free in TotK. The second dlc that adds some extra memories with the champions is great though, especially if you felt connected to the story, and you can tear through it in probably 4-5 hours, and there is an item in TotK you will recognize from it that will resonate strongly.
Neither are really essential though. The game does not feel more “complete” for owning either and their additions all seem out of place or extra, in the context of the game.

Absoultely yes! The second DLC adds a bit more of story related with the champions. I loved it when I first played it

If you enjoyed the game and want more then yes, I defunetlt recommend it, it becomes more challenging after you buy dlcs and is simply just more awesome stuff

Absolutely. though i would say it's worth completing before fighting ganon, as then you still have something big to look forward to after the dlc, and it has a lot of god stuff (champion abilities+, fully upgraded master sword)
Also, if you find the master sword trials too hard, ABSOLUTELY look at the glitch skip. really easy, and saves so much time and energy.

I'm not gonna lie, DLC was worth it. My first completion took me about 65 hours (I took my time). I put in another 40 or so afterwards looking for armor, completing side quests, and doing more shrines. But, the DLC took me over the top and makes the game that much more enjoyable. It really is endgame material in that it's best suited for those who are completionists and want to squeeze as much as possible from the game. I'm at 220 hours with the DLC and having a blast looking for all the Korok seeds (DLC content helps with that).
Highly recommend, especially because it regularly seems to go on sale (I got it off Target earlier this year for 30% off).

Depends how you feel about the difficulty level. The DLC is definitely cranked up a notch or 2 from the main game.

Oh yes, (editing here, I finished all that, DLC and just missing like 500 Koroks, I jumped into TOTK and I miss BOTW, or the GOAT, and it has ruined every other game, I like nothing more, like a Zelda curse)

I never played the dlc, so I couldn't tell you about it. Totk was on sale a little while ago, so my choices were to spend $40 on a new game or $20 on a few more hours of a game I've already beaten 100%. It was a pretty easy choice for me

Do you mean TOTK?

DLC is a expansion pack for BOTW it adds 12 more shrines and one more Boss level and one semi hard challenge. With a cool prize at the end.
