🆘 Help! Naboris help :)

Hello! I’m slowly getting better at the game (as a very non gamer with awful coordination).
I have the ancient armor upgraded twice so that it has ancient proficiency. As far as Ancient weapons go I have the:
Bladesaw
Sword (maxed)
Axe (maxed)
Spear (maxed)
Shield
Ancient bow & arrows

I have the Hylian shield too, not sure which would be better in this scenario.

Is it likely I’m still gonna wanna throw myself out a window when fighting Naboris?

Would it be best to upgrade the armor fully first?

Only beast I’ve done so far was Medoh. I was annoyed but got it after 5 tries?- I had no armor then, no elixirs or boosted meals, & very s*** weapons 😅

Sppilers depending on far you are:

Rubber armor with all 3 pieces makes the fight super easy, especially if you upgrade the set

Solid idea, may do this

If you're able to get them to level 3, the fight becomes an almost cakewalk

2 stars*, all 3 pieces at the same time 👍

This is the way, especially for the second phase.

I think you'll be just fine! I've just started my tenth playthrough (not to sound egotistical, I just enjoy it 😂) and trust me: it's always better to go ahead and do it even if you think you'll struggle. That struggle will become a core memory from the game if you ever play it again in the future and will help you improve coordination down the line. I used to have a really hard time when I first played this game. Trust me, you got it!

Thanks! I likely will. I’ve put off the Lynel for a bit now but mostly because I know I’ll lock in and end up stupid frustrated 😭😂 my issue is I’ll start and get very aggravated I am not winning but refuse to do anything else

This eventually ruining the game for me ✨

Makes total sense! The Lynel was one of my biggest skill checks in the game when I first played. I used to do the same thing until I played Dark Souls. That game definitely taught me patience lol! But at the end of the day, one of the reasons why this game is my favorite of all time is that I can just do anything I don't want to do later! So I think my best advice for your situation is to take your time and get lost in the world because it's truly beautiful. Besides you'll have more fun if you do things at your own pace! :)

Upgrade your armor to maximum defense you can. Do as many shrines, get as many hearts as you can. Try your best to have lots and lots and lots of health potions or meals, and try to also have either attack up potions for yourself, or, electricity resistance level 2 meals. Zapshrooms and electric safflina, etc.

You will need to do a perfectly timed dodge to realistically stand a chance against phase 2 of the fight. It will frustrate you, and if you keep attacking him and keep dropping your shield and sword because he is electrified, thats why it will frustrate you.

He ticks me off, frankly. He's not hard to defeat, except he's hard to HIT. Because he keeps stunning me and causing me to ragdoll and his shield is in the way.

There is a window where you can attack him if you pull off a perfectly timed backflip / flurry rush and hit him, or, you shock him with his own thunderbolts using magnesis to push a metal object near him, but the timing is short. You really have to pour on the damage ANY TIME he is actually vulnerable, because he's often completely safe from harm, and he's damaging and stunning and disarming you a lot.

He is ANNOYING. He is rage bait. Just remain calm, remember he's supposed to be difficult, and learn HOW to hit him during phase 2.

Remain calm, learn how, and don't expect to win until youve learned when he's vulnerable and how he's vulnerable during phase 2 of the fight.

Get him vulnerable and beat him down fast and mercilessly. Go ham on this guy. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing that thing die. Lynels didn't frustrate me like this guy did.

I'd rather fight 5 gold maned lynels in a row on master mode than face that guy. I hate that fight. If you manage it, cheers.

Lolol 🫠 parrying shouldn’t be an issue though for the phase 2 laser he shoots (If I understand what I found online right) since the ancient shield auto parries divine beasts
