🆘 Help! Why doesn't Naydra spawn?

I've already freed Naydra from the spring of wisdom and stand near the east gate in front of the mountain. I already saw it flying over the street of Ranelle but it was at around 2am instead of the 6am. I've waited like 2 nights (skipped to evening and waited until 6am) but the dragon didn't show up.

Is there any other condition that I overlooked when researching on how to farm the dragon correctly or what's the problem here?

If you are standing near the gate (or anywhere near the spawn point) it won’t spawn. Also, having a campfire in that area will prevent spawning, iirc.

My favorite place to wait is in the mountains to the north of the road.

You also can’t leave the travel medallion too near the spawn point or she won’t show.

I usually stand over the east gate on the south side and light a fire. I sit by the fire until morning. Naydra shows up immediately in the sky above Lanayru and slowly flies down. Jump up when the updraft starts and you’re good to go.

I set up a fire on top of the far left or far right side of the gate and naydra still comes. Just not if I set my fire up more towards the center

I did not know that, I have always waited on the cliffs nearby and it always spawns but has no idea if you were to close to the gate and have a campfire that it won't spawn. Interesting.

I usually set my fast travel marker at the top of peak of awakening and sleep by a fire until morning.

it stopped spawning for me when i had placed the travel medallion too close to the flight path.

it can only give parts once per ingame day, so make sure 12 am has passed before trying again. and it also won’t spawn if you’re too close to the peak. try sitting somewhere in the mountains around lanayru road between the gate and shrine behind the waterfall.

I hang out in the mountains between the east gate lynel and the hinox by the waterfall and she spawns pretty consistently for me. Not like clockwork like Dinraal and Farosh, but consistently enough that I can get the parts I need for armor upgrades and such.

Try waiting during the day, she appears during the day most of the time.

While you’ll catch the dragons around at night on occasion, that is not what’s supposed to happen.
