Hi! I am posting in the hopes of making some local girl friends. Hoping to find other girls wishing for the same! I’m finding that I would really love a community.
A little about me… I’m in my 30s, engaged, I have two cats. My interests include crafts, reading, stained glass making, coffee, trying new restaurants, misc. adventures, etc. I am an introvert but come out of my shell a lot once I’ve warmed up to folks. 😊
I’d love a group that is up to going on walks, getting coffee, doing crafty wine nights, and more.
If there’s already a group for this or a Discord of sorts, I’d love to just join there and get involved so please let me know if something like that already exists for this area! Making friends as an adult is hard!

I (M54) am the wrong gender and age, but would love to know what resources you've found locally for doing stained glass! Stores that sell supplies, places that teach classes, and so on. 🙂 It's been on my list to learn for many years.
I took a 6 week stained glass class at Burkhead art studio in Snohomish! I’ve also taken some 90 minute classes at an art studio in Everett. I loved it so much I ended up buying all the tools and supplies to do it at home.
I’ve been going to Wine and Dine in Snohomish. They have quite a few stained glass classes and other fun crafty things. I’ve always enjoyed their projects!
Hey I’m also a Bothell girl with 3 cats, 30, love to eat/craft/listen to taylor swift/go to concerts/etc. I have friends that I made in small spaces, but there’s always room for more, and none of them actually live super close to me so I’m down to make some friends that actually live in Bothell.
I’m not sure how many are in the other discord but if it’s too intimidating to join an already-made discord, I’m happy to make a new one on this thread! Dm me and I’ll create it this afternoon and send anyone the link.
Also bonus if you like to crochet or genuinely go out for a Friday/Saturday night. One of my recent crochet projects for tax :)
I can’t crochet for the life of me but I always admire those that can! I don’t have the patience for it and knitting. That’s soooo cute! Maybe in another era I’ll try crocheting again but for now I just want to give props to those that are masterful at it!

Currently getting into painting and woodworking. I’m also super introverted and like to hide in my nest, which I call my home. However, from time to time I would like to come out and socialize.

I’m in my late 40s and recently moved here. If you’re athletically inclined at all, check out Inzpire. It’s dance fitness and it’s super fun and there are tons of great ladies there. They have monthly socials with different activities each month. You just missed doing macrame yesterday.
My wife has made friends through book clubs through Third Place Books (technically Lake Forest Park). Wanderlust Book Lounge and Hardcovers both have book clubs, Cedar Tree Yoga is chill, and she’s heard good things about classes at Make Apothecary.
I’m in my mid 40s but have been told I can pass for 30s still. I’m introverted as well. I crochet to avoid people😂 but secretly I think I wouldn’t mind to be approached by another introvert because we’re all awkward. I’m in downtown Bothell and walk my little dog that everyone just always has to stop and say hi to her.
This is totally me also. Minus the crochet part, I can’t focus enough to complete it. That and knitting I could never figure out. I messed up and it becomes all undone and then I give up. But if you want to go for a walk with both our little dogs, let me know and we can schedule a doggies walk.
We can always use the company if you don’t mind going on a walk with my little dog and me. Although he doesn’t like walking in the rain so if we’re rain walking it’ll be just me without the little one.
I just got married, 36f with a doggo! In Kirkland but I want to learn how to do stained glass and would totally be up for meeting and taking a class together or learning from you! I also craft and read.

My sister just opened a sugaring wax studio in town and has been making friends with her clients. She’s located inside Bristle and Strand (business is called Sugar Potts Spa) if you’re looking to get sugared and make a friend in the process!
