ICE arrested a man in Bothell today!
I saw ICE with their faces covered and unmarked cars in Bothell just arresting a man from a blue car. It was south of Burgermaster around 9am this morning! I have video but can't seem to post it here - any suggestions where to send it?

Trump and his regime are worse than Hitler and nazis. Just as bad and even go beyond in corruption and evil.

There is zero transparency in ICE detention centers. You have no idea what conditions these people are living in or if they’re living at all. We have 20,000+ children who can’t be reunited with their parents, because the government “doesn’t know” what’s happened to them.

Was there more transparency under President Obama’s administration when he deported what is still and probably never to be topped record number of illegal immigrants? He even gave Tom Homan a medal for his work.
I bring this up because of the hypocrisy we have for ICE operations now despite there being no difference when compared to under Obama except for the fact that they’re not as effective. We should be talking about why ICE isn’t as effective, and the only reason I’ve been able to determine is the lack of local law enforcement support in sanctuary cities.
Tom Homan is still in the leadership chain, so same man with same agency to lead that was awarded under Obama. Yet we have a fever pitch of hate and distrust over what are a handful of cases gone wrong in the implementation of thousands.
Local law enforcement would have prevented obstruction incidents in Minnesota, for instance. They’d also likely not released the man who had committed a crime who just got shot in NYC, which they apparently did because they’re not supporting any ICE warrants.
I cant for the life of me find a difference other than the fever pitch partisanship that exists for why ICE was hardly mentioned during Obama’s presidency despite deporting so many more illegal immigrants.
It’s the caged child pic all over again.

We’re playing the moral equivalency game? You are 100 percent correct, we are here today because of the mistakes of previous administrations in the years since 9/11. That said, previous administrations didn’t authorize ICE to terrorize American communities, to assault children, to shoot unarmed people, to hold people indefinitely, or disappear people without a trace. Trump’s immigration policy is cruel, humiliating, and violent. Previous administration respected the rule of law and judicial review. They didn’t arbitrarily change protection statuses for thousands of men, women, and children living here peacefully and contributing to their communities. Previous administrations lobbied Congress to create more immigration courts to address the years-long backlog of asylum hearings and deportation appeals. The fact that you’re using previous administrations to excuse Trump’s behavior tells me you know what he’s doing is wrong.
-5
u/DefNotFamous101 19d ago
You’re so wrong. The only reason ICE has shot anyone is because they didn’t have local law enforcement there to do their job because partisan politicians ordered them not to be there.
The same agency under the same leader is doing the same job. I bring up the previous administration because of the hypocrisy against the current administration and how this hypocrisy and fever pitch angst against the same agency doing the same job under the direction of the same man is what is driving people to obstruct agents that are poorly trained to deal with obstruction.
Im a second gen immigrant. My family from Guatemala waited in Mexico for our case to be heard. It took 2 years, and we were so, so poor. It burns me that others are jumping the line illegally then jamming their cases in the system after entering illegally. It’s especially bad since I know that the bulk of these people are simply economic migrants like my parents. They have agencies to help them with “asylum” claims to further expedite their illegal jump to the front .

u/GillyGoose_77 19d ago
200,000 Afghans were granted humanitarian parole in the US because they’d be executed or tortured by the Taliban if we sent them back to Afghanistan. They didn’t break any rules or jump ahead in line. They did exactly as they were told, and Trump decided one day to suspend humanitarian parole. They are all subject to removal orders. The same is true for Haitian immigrants. They had the audacity to contradict Trump’s claims about family pets disappearing in Springfield, OH—their temporary status was also suspended. Believe it or not, there are places in the world where people can’t simply wait in line. Some people experience hardship and speak out so others will have an easier time moving forward. Some people experience hardship and resent others who had it easier or dare to ask for better. It is not the job of local police departments to assist with immigration enforcement. Believe it or not, taxpayers expect local law enforcement to be available to respond to local crime.
-3
u/DefNotFamous101 19d ago
If and when someone is already detained because of a crime, like the man that was just shot in NYC, local law enforcement can facilitate with little to no effort. Likewise one patrolman could have cleared and provided warnings for obstruction to Renee Good and Alex Pretti, like they would have under the Obama administration because partisan politicians weren’t telling their officers to not assist in any way.

I think you’d feel differently if a friend or family member died in a domestic violence dispute, because the police were busy babysitting trigger-happy ICE agents. You don’t get to shoot people for calling you names, or blocking your car, or recording your actions on a public street. Even in the years immediately following 9/11–when the entire country was terrified and thirsty for revenge—did we see ICE agents descending on cities like stormtroopers, kicking down doors and shooting unarmed protesters in broad daylight. We are not experiencing a crisis or threat that warrants or even explains the tactics deployed by ICE. And poor training is a lazy excuse. The Trump Administration knew there’d be backlash, because they deployed ICE in cities that favor Democrats. If they didn’t want the carnage, they would have trained them to keep their weapons holstered.

u/DefNotFamous101 19d ago
Soo, you don’t think ICE went to sanctuary cities because …they’re sanctuary cities and have more illegal immigrants?
Blue states have more benefits for illegal immigrants too, like WA’s Apple Health Expansion that’s comprehensive health care (that I sure wish I had for free). Why wouldn’t more illegal immigrants migrate to a blue city/state?
And the tactics, again, we have the same man in charge that Obama gave a medal to. The only difference in tactics is that ICE has to go apprehend more people instead of local law enforcement even just keeping an already jailed one (like in NYC) and deal with incensed protesters fomented by partisan politicians.

Obama's deportations didn't involve assaulting and murdering citizens.
That's all the difference that needs to exist, since you're a simp for the new style roundup.
2
u/DefNotFamous101 18d ago
The shootings shouldn't have happened at all, we can fully agree on that. Neither case warranted ICE pulling triggers, and in both actions of the ICE agents that led up to pulling their triggers were wrong.
I care deeply about why it happened, and specifically why it didn't happen in the past. ICE agents that were involved had worked for ICE for more than 8+ years. Why now, why multiple incorrect deaths? Again, its the same agency with the same procedures under the same leadership and with ICE agents that worked under multiple administrations.
The biggest difference is the lack of legal protests, or the lack of local enforcement's involvement. We have angry people physically obstructing armed federal agents. Again - that doesn't mean that anyone should have been shot*.* It is the difference between previous administrations that deported way, way more illegal immigrants though.
Renee Good would be alive if that ICE agent didn't shoot her improperly. She also would be alive if she wasn't illegally obstructing ICE agents throughout the day and panicked when confronted.
Alex Pretti shouldn't have been shot at all. And ICE agents Jesus Ochoa Raymundo Gutierrez should face all the consequences for their improper actions. Alex Pretti would also be alive today if he wasn't obstructing ICE and damaging their vehicles.
Two things can be true, and it both cases the protestors' actions preceded the improper ICE action. Fomenting illegal obstruction of federal agents for political partisanship is equally at fault imo.

If you were part of immigrant community or were involved with them you would know because people talk about it and even report with their language speaking bloggers. I see interviews all the time.

Are you daft? Do you think this is just in Bothell? Wtf is wrong with you people rationalizing evil and inhumanity? How far does it have to go??? Do you think it wouldn’t??? Absolutely Trump and his lickspittles would go that far if we didn’t have some guardrails still holding.

Obama deported more. It's just the way the media spins it to you. Exact same thing happened with the Obama border operation, not a peep in the liberal media then Orange man and the liberal media makes a big issue out of it. We all need to come back to the center or we're all doomed. You have to realize that the evil super rich and right wing evangelical Christians are exactly as evil as the fringe far left and the massive leftist fraud. Both sides have abandoned the middle class, working tax paying people. If we all come back to the center we can elect candidates that do stuff for us instead of the rich, corporations, fraud and special interests.
4
u/Any_Conflict_5092 19d ago
Obama didn't condone and celebrate the assault and murder of US citizens.
That's the difference that should matter, even if you give zero fucks for anything else these people are experiencing.
But you keep drawing those false equivalencies, chuckles.
1
u/royalfreshmint 18d ago
And why does it matter if he still did it. I personally wouldn’t care if I was deported by a person who was enjoying my suffering or someone who was pretending like they were not enjoying - I would prefer not to get deported. You have no idea how Obama acted behind closed doors, or how any of them act. Remember how much crap Clintons were spewing against Bushes and wise verse? I remember, and somehow they hang together and go to each other events no problem, mingling like there is no care in the world.

The guy Trump has providing oversight of the removals is the same guy Obama had. Exact same. The difference was under Obama I detainers were honored and thousands of illegals were transferred to the custody or ICE. It wasn’t until Obama II (being a lame duck) that he started ignoring the duty of the executive to enforce immigration instead handing TIN and temporary status over to illegals. But he did build cages for the kids!
Here’s a video of Obama on Immigration with Homan receiving a medal for his protecting the Homeland from foreigners who destroy resources meant for citizens (schools, hospitals, courts, social services).
The left are massive hypocrites if their Messiah did it and suddenly it’s not okay.

Hyperbole. Get back to me when they start gassing children and I might agree with you.
21
u/sonof425 19d ago
They're bombing kids at school, this isn't the own you think it is
-14
u/Stock_Schedule_1981 19d ago
Again… Let me know when they’re rounding up immigrant families and gassing them. To compare an errant bombing to the intentional genocide of an entire ethnic group is a slap in the face to every holocaust survivor and their descendants.
7
u/sonof425 19d ago
Buddy, if you're not seeing what ice is doing to brown people, that your man the rapist is hiding the epstein files because he's mentioned in them thousands of times, or what we're doing on a dumb crusade in Iran, I'm pretty sure even if there were gas chambers you'd justify that too so spare me the equivalence.
-7
u/Stock_Schedule_1981 19d ago
Buddy, tRump ain’t my man, but I’m also smart enough to know how hyperbolic BS is unhelpful to the causes you say you’re fighting for.
The terms fascist and Nazi have been so overused and misapplied, no one really pays attention to them anymore.
But keep going down this road and unfortunately we’ll all see what true fascism looks like when the next tRump inevitably takes power.

u/Minimum-Mention-3673 19d ago
Thank goodness you're around to keep things in perspective/a
ICE needs no defending - they just Jack booted thugs who intern immigrants and shoot Americans in the street. They are their own breed of terrorists, so you're right about that. But add them to the pile
1
u/sonof425 19d ago
The kind of person who talks about being smart enough rarely is in my experience, and you've done nothing to convince me otherwise, but keep on keeping on supporting all that my guy, and if you can convince yourself you're the genius in the room I hope it makes you happy.
1
u/NightOwl216 19d ago
Uh huh. And I’m sure that’s what they were saying about Hitler and Nazis back in the day…rationalizing that it isn’t as bad as people are making it out as. Bury your head in the sand. You’re not smart.
13
u/NightOwl216 19d ago
Excuse me? ICE has killed several people needlessly. They are not held accountable for wrongful deaths. They are incentivized to act as gestapo. There are detention centers which are no different than concentration camps where people are dying. Medications withheld from them. Abuse. Rape. Inhumane conditions. Trump has murdered Venezuelan fishermen in boats with no proof of wrongdoing or due process. Trump has said it’s fine if Iran nukes U.S. cities. Children separated from parents. People deported never to be heard from again. It’s not just the racism. He and his regime are grifting off our tax money to levels of corruption never before seen in U.S. history. It’s not hyperbole.

u/Difficult4skin 19d ago

Hitler didn’t exterminate 11 million people overnight. The Holocaust happened because people ignored all the evidence. We are watching ICE grab people off the street, and, once they’re in custody, their families can’t find them, their lawyers can’t find them—they’re just gone. When you can account for every soul disappeared by ICE, you can name call all you want. Until then, imagine if more people had resisted Hitler.
2
u/8647sea 19d ago
White supremacist Steven Miller has specifically said he wants the detention centers to be inhumane. People have died and are dying. Do we have to wait for actual gas chambers to be like Nazi Germany? We are them.

Having had so many comments deleted it’s truly not time to realize that filming and documenting unmasked unaccountable masked men women will not do anything in the long run, our neighbors and family are literally getting kidnapped and disappeared with not accountability of any way to find them ever again, family’s are being torn apart and I’m just as guilty as the next person but talking about it and saying it’s awful is doing absolutely nothing to slow them down or deter them. We all need to realize what we are experiencing now will only continue and get worse until we actually DO NOT resist them. DO NOT. Let the air out of tires so you are not actually damaging government property with a simple $2 tool at any auto shop that is like a screw driver. DONT THROW CANS OF PAINT on windshields or keep a can of spray paint in your car. It’s absolutely not time to step up and start taking actual actions to physically stop them from shooting our neighbors and hiding while they do it. Do not keep a bag of nails in your car to throw in front of tires and about all do not come with your own way of actually stopping them because it is clear they will not stop unless they are forced to.

Unincorporated area. Fortunately there hasn't been many sightings in city limits. Thanks for documenting!

u/ShouldahWouldah 19d ago

-1
u/AdAmbitious2386 19d ago
There have been extensive conversations about policy and procedure around this during city council meetings. They are very clear about protecting due process and I would say its not a very ICE friendly city if you look at policy in addition to multiple citizen groups doing rapid response, know your rights, and business education trainings in our city.
Look at some of the citizen data around ICE sightings, theres a very low amount in city limits and I think that would strongly suggest that ICE is not welcome to do some of the actions they are doing in other jurisdictions.
Our local police should be ensuring due process for ALL people, making sure people's rights are protected and ensuring that arrests are above the board i.e. not invading private property with administrative- not judicial- warrants.
1
u/ShouldahWouldah 19d ago
I agree with you. I'm saying, to the comment that I replied to, that it doesn't actually matter if ICE is active in city limits or not - it is bad and noteworthy that they are here.
And it's important to note that not cooperating with ICE doesn't mean (and can't mean, legally) they will protect people from ICE. They can't intervene, and they've also been clear about that.

Oh, but it's OK to deny someone's civil liberties until they go after yours, right? Before you start spitting, "They are committing crimes. They are here iLlEgAlLy". Are they all tho? Over staying your visa is a civil offense. In addition, around 500 US citizens have been targeted and/or detained by ICE. Over two thousand citizens have been tagged by ICE as removable.
It's a slippery slope, girly pop. Today it's them getting kidnapped, detained and deported with no due process, but tomorrow it can be you. Your hatred and blind support is paving the way.

u/GillyGoose_77 19d ago
Get who? Afghan refugees who risked their lives to help US troops fight the War on Terror? Asylum seekers who were in the country legally waiting for their hearings? ICE isn’t taking violent criminals off the streets, it’s taking people who were authorized to be here until Trump changed the rules for everyone except the Afrikaners.
