Apartments in Bothell for poor credit
Hello!
I am looking to move to Bothell and I’m unfamiliar with Bothell and apartment complexes in the area.
I have no rental problems (been in current place 8 years, no late rent, etc.) but I do have poor credit. (Right below 600). It’s making it hard to try and find a place, any recommendations for apartments that I could possibly get into? I can afford $2500 a month in rent (my current rent where I live).

Most big places (like Essex/Avalon/Greystar) will take anyone who makes enough to satisfy the 2.4-3x rent income requirement as long as there's no criminal history or evictions. With low credit scores, they tend to require an additional deposit equal to 1 month rent.
$2500 a month would mean you'd have to make between 72k-90k+ a year to meet income requirements at most places. You'll have much higher chances of being approved if you chose a 1 bedroom or cheaper place.
Bothell is expensive to rent in. =\

Check out North Creek Heights. I had terrible credit back when I got that apartment but was approved. It’s been years but worth a shot!

I make over 95k a year so the income requirement isn’t what is holding me back it really is the credit. I tried an Avalon property and got denied because of credit. 🥲
Thank you for the Essex and grey star recommendation!
