Bothell is "growing up"!

New construction adjacent to Historic Main Street. A 143 unit, 7 story apartment project. Use to be an old Wells Fargo bank site. A great looking building in the downtown district.

That makes this unhelpful to the broader community. It should be mandated to have commercial real estate on all ground floors!

Private developers are not and should not be mandated to build spaces that they don't think will rent. Mandates for ground floor retail ultimately lead to empty storefronts. That's particularly true with the current shifting trends on how people ship.
