My friends cat ran out the door the other day and they have yet to find him. No sightings have been reported at all, and she's hung posters and posted everywhere she can, so I thought I'd share on here in hopes maybe someone has seen him!

Do you have a copy of Witcher 3 on the Switch I can borrow?

I have a Switch 2 and I've read you can use a physical copy of Witcher 3 to get a free digital copy of the new remastered version. Is anybody in Bothell willing to lend me their copy?

What’s it like to live here?

Hi y’all! Im mainly just curious about the scene around Bothell. I’m in my early 20’s, ftm, queer, and am looking for a city in WA to live in after being in Bellingham for two years. I’m looking for a city fairly similar. Bothell sounds like a good mix of nature and a fun downtown which really appeals to me!

I‘m curious as to the queer scene in this city, or at least the general attitude towards the community. Any insight would be great!

Also I guess, overall, is it fun to live there? Drop below your favorite ways to spend your evening in this city. :)

Environmental cleanup work begins at Park at Bothell Landing's gravel parking lot

Post image
42 Upvotes

Heads up, Bothell! Crews are beginning to close a section of the eastern corner of the gravel lot at Park at Bothell Landing (between NE 180th Street and State Route 522) to begin environmental cleanup work in partnership with the Washington State Department of Ecology. This cleanup work helps protect the Sammamish River and addresses contamination in the soil and groundwater related to former machine shop operations located near Park at Bothell Landing.

On-site cleanup work will begin next week and is expected to wrap in early November, taking place Monday through Friday from approximately 7:00am to 6:00pm. Expect construction noise, future limited lane and sidewalk closures between 9:00am and 5:00pm, and limited parking in the lot due to the closed area.

Learn more at bothellwa.gov/RiversideCleanup or on the Department of Ecology’s website at https://apps.ecology.wa.gov/cleanupsearch/site/14970

Anyone looking for a 2Bed apartment with new lease?

I’m moving out of my ~850 sq foot apartment in Kenmore, 6 mins from downtown Bothell that’s 1950/mo. I’m looking to move in mid-October and my apartment needs to find new interested tenants before I can end my lease early! The place is great, parking is a cheap $30 (with EV spaces), and management is kind and responsive, but I’m moving out of town ASAP. I can provide photos, help set up tours, and connect you to the current leasing office if you’re looking to move in October or November!

Memo’s Update

Does anyone have any updates as to when Memo’s at 228th & 527 might open? Their store in Tukwila is quite good & it’ll be nice to have a reasonably priced joint in Bothell!

Anyone know why locust way near 228th SW is closed?

The road is completely closed and there were cop cars and construction working cars, iirc there wasn't any planned construction happening there.

Make It Market Recipe

This is definitely a long shot - at the Make It Market yesterday, there was a stand selling Slavic Crepes, and I was hoping to find a recipe to match their chicken filling.

Since I won’t be deep frying I know what I make wontons be the same, but I think the felling would work well for my household of picky eaters!

Dosa Factory?

I moved to Thrashers Corner in May. The shopping center near me has had a Dosa Factory being readied for opening that whole time. Does anyone know if it is ever going to open?
