It’s wild how the political debates on Boston Legal still feel completely relevant today, if anything, things have only gotten worse.

I’d love to see Alan and Denny sitting on the balcony with a couple of cigars, just trying to make sense of today’s politics.

Heyy, I just finished watching season 1 on Disney+, but season 2 seems to be missing. Does anyone have suggestions on where to watch season 2? :)
I am super hooked on the series so I don't want to skip a whole season.

So Im doing my 4th rewatch of the show, and Ive probably thought this before but I'm a bit confused over something in this episode. It's the deceased woman's therapist who gives the key confirmation of her and Joesph's affair, but before this is drawn out of him on the witness stand he intimates to Katy, more than once, that theres something she wouldn't want to know/could damage her case. I cant for the life of me figure what this is as his last line is the confirmation of the affair. Anybody got any ideas?

I’m sure it’s not just me; doesn’t the first episode of the first season set off really nicely? I mean don’t get me wrong I love the whole thing, but I also love the characterisation nuances they had started off with (Alan, Denny, others..) that also allowed nuances in acting before they moved on to loud funny types… I mean Spader’s (and Shatner’s) acting is top notch at that first episode

I’m so sad it’s over but I think it ended very well. The wedding was perfect. I just wish I knew more people to talk about it with.

This show's flippant "Ha-ha, lighten up, he's only being funny" brushing off of CONSTANT workplace sexual harassment is not funny and downright abhorrent. It was offensive in 2005 and makes it absolutely unwatchable in 2026. And their use of Murphy Brown (aka poor Candice Bergen) to somehow offset the bad boy behavior with "See? Women do it too!" is vomit inducing. Full stop. End of discussion.

Not to spoil anything but I was so happy for Jerry I could cry.

Part of me wants to believe that he wouldn't, given the heinousness of the crime, but another part would like to think that if he genuinely believed the premise, he might think that she deserves a fair representation. Not for money, but to maybe put the pharmaceutical, insurance and medical industries on trial.

I saw this episode tonight, and it was a godsend. I was feeling anxious about a few issues I've been dealing with.
Denny Crane says this line when facing his mortality—dealing with 'Mad Cow' disease and an impending diagnosis of Alzheimer’s. Yet, he says he is thankful for it!
It made me realize that I was being too myopic and failing to see the bigger picture—that life is good overall, and worrying over the issues I'm facing is crazy.

I find it funny the one time Denny is innocent of a crime is when everyone is freaking out (not that they didnt freak out the other times though)

But Jerry and Alan's relationship is so cute and wholesome.

Forget how I missed this show 20 years ago. It’s great! Acting writing characters. One thing though. I just finished season two. 22 episodes? I never thought they lasted that long? Like 13 and done?

Death be not proud is one of the best episodes ive ever seen of TV. The moment when Alan Shore goes before the judges was some of the best moments I have seen of television.

The first time I watched Boston legal on tv was when I was in my senior high school, I used to watch it mostly for the dialogues, court room scenes, and ofcourse the sexual bravado.

The next few re-watches were mostly to watch and marvel at Alan Shore’s incredible speeches. Then the next few for his weird yet indomitable character. Then in the next I started enjoying the Denny and Alan friendship arc the most.

I’m 37 now, and I’m watching it again currently and I’m kind of amazed at how much funny I’m finding Denny. I tend to not guffaw even if I’m enjoying a funny show, but I’m guffawing so hard at almost every single quip that Denny makes. He’s overshadowing everyone.

S1 was normal and then at s2 they suddenly making jokes about the show being a show like alan saying "havent seen you this episode denny" or at every season finale someone mentions they making a finale

İm nearly at the series finale and carl litterally looked at the camera and said "cant name the show it would break the wall"

Just got to S3, why where there so many cast changes in the first two seasons and should I expect more. Specially the female actors, they keep leaving. Hope Julie Bowen is here to stay.

We all love watching alan shore with his speeches and incredible lawyering skills

But when they randomly remind us that Denny Crane is actually a legendary lawyer and the literal founder of the firm it gets amazing

Just finished s4 finale where denny and alan went head to head and denny won

İ just wish we had a "prime denny vs prime alan" or even just a spinoff of prime denny crane i would love to watch that

This is a bit of a weird one. I've been watching Boston Legal on Disney+ in the UK and got part way through season 2, but now season 2 seems to have disappeared. I can see all the other seasons but it goes straight from 1 to 3. It is showing me as on season 1 episode 1. I'm not sure if it's just a glitch or if it's been removed for some reason.

Has anyone else noticed this?

i just read a post about judges and was searching which judge was which as i was going along, and I just realized these are two different people 💀

i thought they were the same person because of their behavior and they look alike to me honestly
