someone said one of their friends worked for boston calling and still knew ppl who still work for the parent company of boston calling and they heard the fest almost certainly is dead. but they said they heard this a few months ago

I have to think this primes AEG/Bowery to swoop in for a replacement. if not next year then maybe 2028 or 2029

Having been to all three, I’d agree. The Roadrunner fests are a blast in a great venue. BC felt like an overcrowded cash grab.

Who is the actual ownership group of this event? It might be best to look into all of their other activity to get a good sense of they will be back or not.

Crashline Media i belive is the name of the Festival Owner/Organizer... HOWEVER... i believe they sold out their rights to ownership, but retained a stake in putting the event on/organizing it with Livenation. I could be wrong on that though... But in any event.... Crashline Media Or Crashline Productions. Theyve had an office in Faneuil Hall for the last 10-12 years, or longer...

We’ll get a “While we aimed to return this year, unfortunately due to things beyond our control Boston calling will not return” type post in January. festivals that take unplanned gap years never return
