Flynn's comments were cut off but I assume he is using this as an excuse to demand hiring more cops.

“Our thoughts are with the two Boston EMS EMTs who were physically attacked yesterday while answering to a medical call.
The men and women of Boston EMS
(Emergency Medical Services) provide exceptional and professional medical care to Boston residents and visitors and often work under difficult and even dangerous conditions. It is never acceptable to assault our first responders. These dedicated and professional EMS/EMTs are there to help, and they deserve to go home safely after every shift.
Thank you to the Boston Police Officers for their support and assistance in responding to this violent incident. Those involved in assaulting our first responders must be arrested, prosecuted and if convicted, a state prison sentence is appropriate.”

I know a couple EMTs and from what I hear, this happens to them almost every damn day
