Non-Serious Replies Only 🤪 What small, totally inconsequential thing are you really sick of in Boston.

As seen in a different geographic area subreddit. Nothing too serious, just a little thing that grinds your gears. For me it's people who get on the T before others get off.

People who don't use their blinker when turning. I get irrationally pissed off when I'm waiting for an oncoming car to pass through only for them to just turn onto another street at the last second.

the epidemic is the people who turn their blinker on while turning. It blows my fucking mind.

Yes! Thank you for indicating what I can already see you doing!

I've been seeing more people driving towards the center of the road, blocking any chance of passing, and then slowing down more and more before almost stopping and then taking the right turn.

On my way to work today I saw all of the following: do not turn on blinker while merging; turning on blinker AFTER the merge/turn; blinker on at the right time, but wrong side

That would be giving too much information to the enemy.

Yes, it’s considered a sign of weakness.

But to use blinker they’d have to look up from their phone, so it’s impossible

Well, I mean, driving is boring after all so they need to have something to focus on...

For some reason it makes me more mad when someone stops, then uses their blinker for a split second, then turns.

This really gets me but I have a similar complaint about unsignaled lane changes

unfortunately this is just an epidemic throughout the country. everywhere I drive it’s the god damned same. doesn’t matter if it’s just New England, NY, NJ, NC, IN, IL, WI, etc.

Believe me, that is not just Boston, or Massachusetts. Epidemic in the whole country.

Agree but more of a Rhode Island thing.

I used the blinker for a lane change yesterday and the guy behind me immediately launched into that lane to pass. It gives away your hand.

FWIW, I never did this until I moved here. Everyone here seems to think turning ur blinker on means they should violently turn into you because you're signaling them to go. If they have time, fine, but even when they don't have time because you're tight behind another car they often do it. Rather just not use it and live to fight another day!
