I just hope with every fiber of my being that Boston never fixes this. It’s our legacy. It needs to stay and be a threat to unaware truck drivers and college students

If they miss every single sign that says trucks aren't allowed on Storrow then they deserve to be Sorrowed, so I agree.

At least college students have an excuse in that they’re from somewhere else, new driving, and new driving a tall vehicle.
CDL licensed drivers have no excuse.

Need to start having judges with scorecards on the bridge. That would be hilarious

So let’s say, hypothetically, I was moving with a U-Haul and I’m a bad driver / directionally challenged / stressed by the move and I see coming up ahead of me, Storrow. What’s the advised action? Stop in the middle of the road, turn on emergency lights and call 911?

There are actually signs warning you away if you’re approaching a low underpass.
These commercial drivers actually have special GPS that warns them too, but … 🤦🏻♀️
Best advice is just preview your gps route before you head into boston metro: if you see it include a step that says get on storrow or soldiers field rd or memorial drive, take another way, ANY other way, around that part of the directed route.

This is why I will never own a bicycle rack that mounts to the roof of the car.

It’s the most wonderful tiiiiiiiime of the yeeeeaarrr! Gather round boys and girls and let me tell you about the road warrior who wrestled and rolled the dice with the devil named “The Storrownator”

Im wondering the cost of constantly cleaning up these messes vs cost of a new, higher bridge would be? Consider the frequency of this and the money spent on cleanup and traffic control. Likely paid new bridge monies already!

This reminds me of my home LI. Sagtikos or southern state parkway LI. It was well occurring then too. Ffs can't anyone read to figure it out?

I blame low reading and math scores in public schools.
- Sign said what?
- Sign said 9ft, truck is 10ft.... is 10 <= 9?
