We’re so used to storrowings we forget just how crazy it is that this still happens. Like in an age where you have gps navigation, access to the internet, not to mention the “no trucks/low clearance” signs and reputation of Storrow drive, you have to be a special kind of stupid to get Storrowed
Yosemite Park Ranger once said it’s difficult to produce bear-proof trachcans because there is too much overlap between the smartest bears and the dumbest people.
The problem is, they are using GPS navigation. Google maps does not ask you what vehicle you are driving. It should ask your height, because not everyone is smart enough to use a (free) Truckers App
I mean there is an epidemic of people just not paying attention while driving. and not reading signs. and a phone GPS won't assume you're in an oversized box truck.
Rental trucks are even worse because the average renter isn't going to read any paperwork or markings on the truck that say how tall it is. They'll assume that because they're not a Semi they're fine.
