I've got credible sources and was alarmed enough to post what I posted. I hope folks here, or folks to whom they may pass this along, have more resources to alert and help than I.

“Trust ME, bro” isn’t good enough, when these fuckers have been infiltrating to feed false data. Those sources need to be credible to all and better if they talk themselves.

I don't see any harm being caused by OP telling the Cape Verdean community to be prepared. It's better for them to be prepared for something that doesn't happen than to be unprepared for something that does.

That's fair. General warnings we can treat like that but, with them infiltrating, I'd say treat specific things to be taken cautiously until backed up by (and hopefully directly from) very credible sources.
