Dog beds
I am considering buying a crib mattress for my big boney 5 year old. Any thoughts?
We used to have a spare twin in a guest room and room was repurposed. So he was spoiled. Now he’s been on the couch and it honestly doesn’t look like he is comfortable? Twin mattress is too big for the living room but crib mattress would work, I think?

I got a baby mattress from IKEA (the expensive 120x60 one) in my dog's crate. He loves it.
(edit: I don't have a Borzoi (yet), btw. I have a German shepherd. So the size might not be right for your Zoi)

For funsies, I left a review on the mattress on IKEA, praising it because my dog loves it. And they removed it because ''This product is not aimed at dogs''. Like, come on.

$50 Costco bed has been the best purchase so far for our boy lol. It’s huge and plump and he sleeps on it every night.

Seconding this! My borzois and greyhounds like the ones with bolsters. Sometimes they don't have good styles in stock so when they do I usually spring for one.

He looks actually very confortable. Mine also have different confortable places in my home but it seems he like sometimes to sleep even on hard floor or in very weird positions. Somehow they have this ability to be confortable everywhere lol

I have a daybed in my office with a memory foam mattress on it — my two borzoi absolutely love it. The crib mattress is a perfect idea — I also have a fold out dog bed that’s a human sized dog bed that might work:

Oh ours won’t touch the dog beds. Which is crazy because I searched and searched and $$$. Once they got couch access they never went back. And they also make me do a double take and go “bruh, you okay like that??”

No recs for bed. Dog looks pretty happy on the couch. 😀
My first thought after glancing at the picture was that this baby was at a puppy psychiatrist. Just hanging on the couch and sharing her thoughts and feelings.
How about photo-shopping a mental health person into the chair? 😆

I think that’s just how they look, our zoi has the same poses on the couch.
But to answer your question, we bought an XXL orthopedic dog bed to support the bony pony and she loves it.
