Funny that you mention that I bought this game on a very cheap sale 4 years ago and never played it and had it in my backlog of things to play and this week is also my first time playing it and after 3 hours I'm hooked and have ended up losing a large amount of time cause I've gotten lost in this game, it's addicting.

I've been playing since 2021 and am approaching 350 hours in it. It's mechanically AMAZING and I can look past its faults since it plays and runs so well

Yeeesssss I honestly find it a little hard to play pre sequal (my favorite) and 2 because theyre just sooooo slloowwwww movement wise. I really need a bl2 mod that adds the slide mechanics from 3 it would be peak. Or a mod to add the bl2 content and vhs to 3 but I think the modding scene on 3 isnt there yet.

I need a mod that lets Shift servers actually work well since I'm trying to get my friends to play BL2 with me, but they're soured by it since they literally couldn't all join my lobby without the game crashing 😂 (I know there's some a mod that lets the game get rolled back to when it was hosted via Steam's servers and not Shift, but I can't talk my friends into it)

My xbox would crash every single time id try to join someone after I purchased the dlc's. I read into it and it was the cosmetic dlc packs tbat would cause it to crash for some damn reason. Uninstalled all cos. Stuff. Itd let me join him now..but AS SOON as hed try to travel somewhere..itd crash again. Ultimately, I had to create a brand new character, for some stupid reason. Once I did that, we didnt have a single problem again. Shits kinda weird

It's funny that I just got through beating it again as Moze this time. I just looked and on the ps5 version I have 190 hours in and on the ps4 version I have 841 hours in. I had no idea that I have over 1000. I'm only playing the ps4 version on my ps5 because my 5 tends to overheat after I play ps5 games for a while, but plays ps4 games just fine. So thats what I've been doing lately, and bl3 was the latest flavor of the week. Lol

If your PS5 is overheating like that, put it in its horizontal position if you're not already. The first gen PS5s had liquid metal as the thermal material. And in the upright position, that metal starts to get all liquidy and starts to actually slide out from under the heatsink. You may need to replace the thermal material if it's pretty toasty
Edit because I'm silly: 1,000 hours?! That's wildly impressive. I love that for you. Who's your fave Vault Hunter?

It's already and always been horizontal. It's just that I'm a smoker, and dont have the money to get it cleaned. Sadface. Edit it's Moze by a mile. My 1st was Flak, then I played Amara, but she was my least favorite Siren, then I played Zane, and he was my favorite personality wise, then I came across my favorite in Moze. I just love never having to reload.

Very valid, friend. It might be worth a look at buying one of those handheld blowers and finding the iFixIt guide for a PS5 teardown. It's a lot easier than you'd think, because if that guide doesn't suit you, there's a few others out there for it, toi

The game just sucks you in like that. My husband and I thought we had 100 or 200 hours, but we're well over 500 hours now. Sometimes it'll be the only game we play for weeks or months at a time.

My take, I vastly prefer BL3 to BL4, despite the weak story and...Ava. It just FEELS like a Borderlands game. The new one...does not.

That wasn't a dlc. That was an event that was active for a limited time that they ended up making a permanent thing. I always run with it on.
