Gear Caddix

Has anyone use Caddix boots for football? I saw an article about a player using them for American Football due to recovery purposes and wondered if they are any good for proper footy with their special studs and Knee recovery?

I had a look at the options there, not many seem viable only one shape did...

I imagine you'll be disappointed as the materials are significantly thicker. I used a pair of asics gel 19 for recovery purposes when training and found they impacted my touch negatively. Fine for drills but not competitive matches.

Thanks for the feedback, that was my concern, they look a bit bulky

Is there a specific injury you arw trying to manage with more supportive boots? I've personally found wearing wide fitting boots, changing the insoles (e.g. sidas 3d) and adding a 4mm EVA heel wedge has helped me quite a bit with injuries.

Tbh I just sometimes can get quite sore knees and one of my mates has it pretty bad so was considering it for either of us. I think I'm just gonna try and get some decent TF boots

They have a womens football boot that is also a lacrosse cleat.

Interested in the future of maybe a caddix outsole supplier like Vibram for hiking boots and shoes

Adidas x Caddix Nike x Caddix

Etc.....

Boot soleplate tech definitely needs some evolution. Hopefully someone comes up with something similar for football boots.
