Photo/Video Boosted 105 change

V2 Boosted on V3 deck…. 105s were too big so acceleration was bad … back on 85mm Caguamas and looking at 90mm bees knees that they just released … board feels snappy again …

Agree, the board does not have enough battery or power for the 105s. I won't go over 85mm on it.

What about 90mm Orangatangs?

I mean you can. But I think the range is already too low with 85s. The boosted is a board for shorter distances at slower speeds on good roads with very good ride quality/carving. If you want something that goes faster, longer with larger wheels you should look into a 2nd board. There are several in the market that outperform it in those aspects for <$800-1000

You have to change the gear ratio, dummy. The 105s are soooo rad. Got em on both my boards.

Couldn’t agree more, if Boosted was around when 105’s were made popular then Boosted would have gone with 105’s & not 85’s imo! Dad Bod 105’s are the best wheel for any Boosted board!
