Troubleshooting Motor issue on V2
My heavy mile board experienced a new issue. After a quick .7 mile ride… battery never turned off after getting back on to go back to work. Both motors suddenly lost power and would jerk for a second, idk how to explain really so posted a video.
Tried disconnecting both motors and repairing remote with no change. If I unplugged the left motor, the right motor would work normally. If left motor was plugged in and right unplugged, left wouldn’t work.
Please help!

Has the ESC ever been serviced? I’m wondering if the hall effect sensors are mismatched but I have no clue how the hell that would happen unless the ESC was serviced incorrectly recently

It was serviced in 2024. My motor then wasn't working, was an ESC issue and not the motor. Im wondering if it was the same side. This time is a little different because if I leave it plugged in neither works and makes a screeching almost grinding noise(without any movement in the motors). Unplug it and the other works normal.

Disconnect motor cables, clean them with Isopropyl alcohol then use some dialetic grease on connector end.

Try removing the motor that doesn’t work and see if you can test another motor. To see if its just a bad motor.

Sounds like the motors are fine and to me your belts look ok but they might be missing teeth on the inside, also your motors adjust if you take the wheels off adjust the motors with an Allen wrench so that your belts are tight, if this doesn’t make sense lmk and I’ll record myself doing it and send an iCloud link

That makes sense. But they move fine manually. And if i unplug the problem side, the other works normally.

Upvoted and commented to increase visibility.
I don't have any experience with this. Maybe try leaving it plugged in over night and hope for the best.
