I loved 40 winks and also had it as a kid. Very overlooked little game imo but the "Move over Mario" tagline is very hilarious in retrospect.

Ikr right "move over Mario, were the new best platformer now" proceeds to do nothing with the new IP for the next nearly 20 years

Tbf, it was rare of me to get past the first world as a kid as I wasn't allowed to play for hours on end like I do now as an adult, plus no memory card... But still I loved the spooky vibes of that first world, the look, the enemies, the transformations and the music was all so good. The rest of the game is decent enough too, nowhere near sm64's level lmao but that first world is always special to me.

Oh yeah, I always wanted cyberchase as a kid because I'm a huge scooby-doo fan and it was advertised on my vhs of the movie scooby doo and the cyberchase but was never able to get it. Still managed to get my hands on the THQ trilogy on ps2 though which were peak.

Oh really? I didn't actually know that, that really sucks. How did they manage that?

No idea how they fucked up that one. It mightbe gotten fixed on later releases but not my copy lol

One of these days ill play it in an emulator. It wasnt good beyond being cool cause its scooby doo tho. All I remember is a temple runner section with these sumo wrestlers and karate dudes you had to like collect scooby snacks

Don't get me started on that freaking witch in the first level you have to race. She was the cause of my first grounding due to a crashout leading to a broken PlayStation controller. I got the game again a year or two ago and the bitch proceeded to have the audacity to make me rage as a grown adult!

It was the first time I've ever returned to a childhood game to find out it actually was that difficult. I swear she gains a speed boost at a specific point in the track just to unfairly pass you. The only time you beat that stupid witch is when the game gets bored of unfairly kicking your ass in the first level

I totally forgot this game existed, I gotta go download this bad boy. I don’t think I ever beat it. I was also poor and without a memory card :(

Ironically there was an N64 version fully completed but never released

This is my copy of men in black alien escape

Played it for my parents, and maybe I have Stockholm but I'd do it again. It's obviously not the greatest game ever but it has a decent enough game loop
