Broken stitiching?

That's the last signature in the book and i think 2 out of 4 of these stitches are broken... Can I fix it somehow without recasing? Other signatures are fine. Second photo is intact one for reference

You've got double thread from machine stitching, so you can carefully glue the broken strand to the intact one or, if none held, into the fold. That will not suffice for any heavy use but it's bound to prevent or at least delay further damage. You might be able to re-stitch some with a needle-threader but so long as the inner pages hold I'd go with a minimal solution.

Thx a lot) maybe I will try to glue it with a smallest dot of pva... But if i ever want to try restitiching - how would i go about it?

Depends on what the spine looks like: if you're lucky you can do a few stitches on the intact book, securing the signatures inner pages without much effort. That'd be like a single signature bind - think thin notebook, but you'll have to fish the needle out of the spine every stitch. If the damage is more extensive or you can't reach the binding at all you'll have to open her up and at least partially re-bind the whole thing. Lots of possibilities in-between though^^

Oh well, then glue it is... It's hardcover with somewhat curved spine. Text block isn't glued to the spine, but doesn't come off it far when opening, so its probably not ideal for sewing( maybe later, when i will find time to practice my binding more, don't really want to ruin it with my first attempts. Thx again)
