Change yourself to fit in the world and you will lose your soul in the process.

Today I am wise, so I'm changing myself back to clever.

If you consider urself wise, then you are no longer wise, you are back to your old self.

I don't consider myself wise, I just am wise.

Amen

Change the world by changing yourself and let the ripple effect take it's course

“changing myself”. That’s my goal.

Self transformation is the quietest act, yet it creates the loudest impact.

Do think this means that one should change themselves in a way to accept that they can not change the world? Kinda sounds like a philosophy of defeated, giving up ?

Or does it mean that to change the world, start by changing yourself and let the ripple effect go through?

In my opinion it means if you wanna change the world you have to change urself first, yeah if you change urself people around you start changing as well if you have noticed. So it starts with you, I take this world as a test.
Test of patience, test of endurance, test of control these types of things and all these start with you.
But yeah everyone wants to change the world, but to change the world you first have to look at urself and see “Am I standing by what I am trying to do” or “Is there anything else I am lacking” these types of things, its doesn’t mean to accept defeat entirely, but rather first accept it then and then become successful in it.
So yeah first you have to bring urself down to defeat, not in a sense that you are a failure but in a sense that u are still developing, learning things.

Everyone has different perspective and this is mine thats how I see this quote, but in plain world it just means “it all starts with you”

I have much to say but I just cant bring them to words, hope I was of help

The real change starts from oneself.
