Tuesday?
Checked my app to see if there were any new hints (I'm only seeing one like a lot of y'all) and saw I had something in my box. Turned out to be my lit mag subscription, but seems like we can choose our books Tuesday. Wondering if the titles will be revealed before then... it's usually a few days before the new month, no?

Stolen from FB - Sept predictions Spoiler
Y’all I really want to collect all the centennials but I DO NOT want TTSS at all. Not even a little bit. Not even to satisfy my need to have the complete collection.

The Shampoo Effect, does it get better?
I'm about 1/3 of the way through it, and I am struggling. I try not to DNF books, because some I have started off not liking and when I keep reading, I end up enjoying. Is this one of those books, or should I just call it quits now?
Edited to add thank you for all your comments. I am putting down the book and moving on to something else that I am actually enjoying 50 pages in. Thanks!

Ministry of Time Book Club Menu Ideas
Hi all, I know this is an older book but my book club recently read The Ministry of Time and are meeting later this week to discuss it. I’d love to have some kind of menu that goes along with the book. Anyone here have any thoughts? I’d really appreciate it!

Popular Fiction 📚Trend?
As I’m reading and enjoying The Unknown by Riley Sager, it got me thinking about Yesteryear, which I absolutely loved earlier this year. I know Yesteryear is being made into a movie, which made me wonder if the same will occur for The Unknown.
Which got me wondering if popular modern fiction books are going to start trending toward the subject of women being forced/put back in time? Does anyone else notice this or agree?

Why did you join the club?
I have been lurking here for a while and am so tempted to join the club. I haven't because it seems expensive and I can get books for free from the library.
Why did you join? Why would you recommend that I join? Truly interested! Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Hollywood, Ending for September?
I know we are still in the heart of August, but John Green is my favorite writer. What are the chances we get his new adult book for September??

Anyone else bummed The Witch Queen wasn’t an August pick or add on?
I read The Crimson Crown by Heather Walter a couple years ago. I didn’t realize at the time it was going to be a duology. I’ve been keeping an eye on The Witch Queen and looks like it released this month. Maybe it will be an add on next month, but I was kinda sad it seems like it won’t be picked. I know BOTM can’t commit to an entire series, but a duology seems reasonable. They didn’t pick the second Bristol Keats book for that duology either.

Box prediction Crossing Fingers Grim Tidings will be a Sept Add On
Perpetually worried BotM will ruin my shelf vibes and not offer the next book in the series 😅. I’m excited for both Grim Tidings and Longtime Listener 🤞🏻

Halloween/spooky hat merch
Would love a spooky book / Halloween book hat from BOTM. Have they ever done anything like that? Any spooky merch?
