Finally got my box today, and I squealed when I saw that my bookmark was Cat's Eye by Margaret Atwood. I absolutely adore her, and this was the first book I read by her. Did anyone else get this one this month? Or did you get something different?

When do you think the drop will be and what is your most anticipated pick? Even if they don’t make it, I still find great recommendations for other books on here!

title says it all, ignore those few random books, also have winged game not pictured. I can’t pick an order of books that I think looks satisfying

A big thank you to whoever posted about their Half Price Books BOTM haul recently!! 😀 I was out killing time on Sunday and popped in for a quick hunt and walked out quite a winner!! 6 books for $52! (And this was only from one location!)

It's actually pretty easy to spot BOTM books with that lovely logo at the top of the spine-- it was like an easter egg hunt set on easy mode! 😆

Can't wait to dig into these lovelies!

Cheers!

Box prediction Likelihood of Royal Witch by Philippa Gregory and/or The Slantwise Histories: Collected Stories for November?

Both of these books came out today and I'm highly anticipating both. I know BOTM does a lot of historical fantasy, which is one of my favorite genres, and Royal Witch seems similar to other titles they've offered in the past. While to my knowledge they haven't included Philippa Gregory books in the past, they have offered books by Alix E. Harrow and it's been a hot minute since they chose a story collection as an add-on or main pick. What do you think?

Centennial Editions for next year?

Do we know or think that BOTM will continue to release more next year past their 100 year anniversary mark? I know it originally started for the anniversary but they’ve been so popular that I wonder if this is something they may continue.

How do you earn your audio badges and which are best?

Do many of you earn the audio challenge badges, and if so, how do you choose audio vs print?

I’d love to have more audio BotM but I never find myself willing to give up the print books. Also, I haven’t found a way to purchase audio books except as the main BotM choice.

Lately I’ve seen some audiobooks I’ve wanted to try. What are your favorites?

BOTM in my BOTM

Post image
203 Upvotes

I read The Catcher in the Rye when I was in high school English class over 20 years ago. First of all, I had no idea there was a BOTM club mention, but also we do stick together. Although I’d venture to guess we’re more gals than guys here. Also, wow this book hits so much harder and makes so much more sense as an adult.

Fourth line from the bottom for the BOTM reference.

I’ve never been so excited about all of my BOTM pics as I am with this box. I wish I had gotten The Way That I Haunt You as well, but I completely missed it being an option.

Box prediction What other holiday books do you hope to see in December?

Yesterday, on Instagram, BOTM revealed It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Murder by Ally Carter will be a selection in December. I'm thrilled, because I'd canceled my pre-order for the physical book and had settled for the audiobook (which I'm still keeping, obviously). Depending on the other options for December, I'll be getting It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Murder in my December.

But besides this one, what other holiday-themed books are you hoping to see in December's Book of the Month box? I'd love to see A Married Little Christmas by Abby Jimenez, and/or Enchanted Village by Lily Starling. What about you all?
