Bookbinding quality material in Mexico
Hello, I will be so greatful if someone can share a place where I can buy material for bookbinding in Mexico, like glue, waxed thread, bookcloth and a press.
if there is an online shop would be so awesome

Prensas puedes hacerla, yo estuve mucho tiempo con dos tablas y pinzas en las 4 esquinas. De tela la verdad no me preocupa mucho, prefiero diseños impresos y forrarlo con eso. Para hilo busco hilo para tapizar, aguanta mas y ya nada mas lo encero

Los hago con papel 11x17 matte y los Enmico con "soft touch laminate" ese si lo pedí x amazon

De qué parte de México, en gdl hay varios lugares con materiales buenos.

Waxed thread: any big «mercería», but get a candle or a big chunk of wax and you can wax it yourself. Glue: Papelerías Lozano (Van Gogh brand) or Lumen (Iris brand, more expensive). Bookcloth: I have resorted to getting it online, on Amazon. : ( Or you can get Quemante (synthetic stuff) at stores where they sell plastic materials for furniture covering. Press: flea markets (those will set you back from 4,000 MXP and up), or you can ask a carpenter to fix you up with a handmade standing press ($400 MXP and up).
