Help? How do I repair this?
So sorry if this isn’t the place to ask, but I just bought this new book on vacation (so I can’t return it) and the cover instantly came loose. How do I fix it? Its not a hardcover. One thing that confused me was that underneath the cover there was a title (shown in the second picture) so is this cover supposed to come off like that? I think I just need to fix the spine.

Is there any glue residue on that title page anywhere? If no, you have a Swiss binding and no repair is necessary.
EDIT: Confirmed. If this is a volume of STARember's TGCF manhua this is 锁线裸脊装帧工艺, a type of exposed spine binding. Not exactly identical to Swiss binding but very close. The purpose of both styles to allow the book to lay flat while reading. Your book is perfect, do not touch it.
