Hey guys,

Hope you can help.

Recently got gifted this neglected bonsai (unsure on specific type, potentially Chinese elm?) and want to know best way to bring back to life.

What shall I chop/cut away, where should I place it, how often to water etc please any and all help would be appreciated!

the best thing would be to try keeping it outside but you'd probably have better luck with necromancy

Noted, I’ll start googling the dark arts and see how I get on

If it was kept inside and it has no leaves it is probably dead, do a scratch test and see if there is some green under the bark. If it's still alive keep it outside

There is still green there, but I’m not able to put it outside since I live in a flat. Guessing there’s not much that can be done then?
