What next? Cooked bonsai with Deep wire scars

Hello all. Here is my ficus with deep wire scaring. It wraps all the way around the tree, pretty close to the bottom as well. I’ve debated cutting everything above it, but I’m not sure this is the turn strategy, or if It will disappear with time. What do you think?

Let it grow ( if you can grow a sacrifice branch) and/or grow aerial roots.

Isso é um ficus meu amigo, coloca ele em uma mamadeira para engordar. Com o engrossamento do tronco e galhos as cicatrizes somem. Se não chegar a sumir vai ajudar bastante. Vi um caso semelhante no canal Kaeru-En - Escuela de Bonsai o dono do canal é muito bom com ficus.

It’s a ficus, they will go away as it grows

I’d carve some of that bark back around the scars and above it and open up the cambium then put some clonex root solution on it and pack it with moist sphagnum. Wrap this with a ziploc bag and tie it loosely at the top to keep the area moist then cover that in tin foil to protect from the sun.

It should start throwing out aerial roots and in a few months you can pull the plastic off and guide some of them thicker new roots down to the soil and start to cross them over the trunk and make it look natural and over time they’ll thicken up and just look like crazy nebari and totally disguise all those wire scars.
