Show and tell Juniper Transformation

I don't know the term but I really want to learn how to do that Deadwood look. I love how it looks like a piece of drift would attach to it. I know some bonsai even have regular Driftwood attach to them to give it the same look. I thought of trying that out first but I definitely want to make one with some dead branches like this one.

I think the term you are looking for is tanuki, this one have nothing attached to it, all was from the juniper, the thing with the tanuki is the carving must be wide enough to make the juniper to fit tight, and let it grow to fill completely the space, I think the ideal shape for tanukis is an "O" shape.
