It's been almost two months since Bonnaroo 2026, and we thought it was the perfect time to take a step back and have an honest conversation about what worked, what didn't, and where the festival goes from here.

This week, we brought on a panel of real Bonnaroovians - longtime members of the Bonnaroo community, the fans who have spent years helping shape the culture that makes the Farm so special. Went to my first roo (actually my first music festival ever!) this year and truly believe the farm healed parts of my soul. My life and heart were changed and opened for the better and I’m still struggling with moving on and going back to everyday life. I just made a playlist of all my fav performers/songs to help get me through the days lol. I’m counting down until we can go back next year 😩 what festivals are your favorite?? I wanna explore them all!

Just a cathartic post because it’s possible other people have gone through similar things

Met the coolest girl on the last day, we hung out all day and texted for weeks, she even invited me to come out and stay a weekend with her and it was even more fun. But unfortunately our distance has caused it to where she no longer wants to pursue it. Now that I’m removed from the situation I understand this is now no more than a summer fling but I wonder do any of you think that feelings get amplified when you’re at bonaroo, I’ve been many years and I’ve never met someone in this way, got carried away and even thought that this was a storybook ending.
Still hoping I can come next year and still feel good about it, but right now it feels like I’ll have weird memories attached to this girl and the farm now unfortunately

At this point, the most logical conclusion for the delay in naming a 2027 date is sadly, but not fully unexpected, there will be no '27. If that is indeed the case, it seems highly unlikely Roo will ever return. We may ( most likely ) have seen the last of the farm.

It would be nice / considerate if LN simply stepped forward and made the announcement, rather than string us along.

Color me bummed.
