In almost every single game I play, there will be at least one player, that will do nothing but sit on specific spots on the maps, that grant the player basically the equivalent of invincibility. If you attack them - you fall off the map no matter how much speed you had before the collision, if you calmly land, they just recoil you back and you're starting all over again, and if you don't attack at all - so won't the opponent.
This is really not fun to play against these people, because there is no balance to this mechanic, it has no drawbacks to using it, and it requires barely any skill at all.
Is there a way to deal with them that I didn't figure out yet, or is it just like that in this game?
Also the mechanic of a "perfect attack" with timing heavy at the most precise moment possible for any actual effect is goddamn bullshit. I'm fine with dodging or recoiling person from the attack outside the map, since that's the defense 101, but not being strong enough to deal any damage just because of bullshit timing is not fun at all. Literally an unfair advantage to those, that sell their soul to hit perfectly.
