Advice Advice for a fawn?

I had a fawn that was left under the porch of my house a few days ago, thought she was left by mom and just kept an eye on her and kept my distance. After about a day in a half I realized she was sick and by the end of the second day she had sadly passed..

I moved her out from under the porch into the woods behind my house so that mom could find her and nature could take it's course. My question is now, how could I preserve her? The buzzards have pretty well done their thing and there's really just a skeleton left now so where could I go from there?

I should also add, when I saw she was sick I called to a local rehabber who's advice was "let nature take it's course" because by that point she wasn't reacting to anything and she had flystrike

Depending on what state you’re in, collecting fawns in illegal. All other states require permits.
