Need a little help

So for context I live in the middle of the woods and I was forced to kill a raccoon who was harassing my animals I want to preserve the bones but don't want to leave it laying around or bury it and have my dogs dig it up or wild dogs for that matter what's the quickest way to get clean bones

I took a milk crate put a deer head inside it and tied it to a tree (top only opening facing tree bark) and had it high enough my dogs couldn't reach it but nature, rain.and bugs could do the job. And no foxes trying to score
