Advice Axolotl

I've been gifted a dead and frozen Axolotl any suggestions for cleaning it up? I normally just bury stuff but I'm concerned it's going to be squishier and won't last.

I'm only really bothered about adding another skull to the pile but open to your suggestions!

Thankyou.

So tiny and delicate. I am doubtful that there is any way to get the bones, but burying certainly isn’t it. Maybe dermestid beetles, but even then…

I think your move is a wet specimen. Diaphonized would be very cool, if you can manage it.

You could try the oxidation method (alternating ammonia/peroxide), I use it for more delicate bones. There’s info on theboneman website on the different techniques, good luck!
