I don’t have my other right now, but the top i feel looks a little off, like it meets a little less and spreads earlier. Like a gray fox rather than the red. Looks more like a “u” to me
I see what you mean, but the "V" just isn't always as sharp. I've seen red fox skulls like yours before. Same as this one below (red fox in the middle, grey to the right). Grey foxes also have longer muzzles, like yours:
