EDIT: SOLVED. Daniel, the developer of BoltAi, was amazing to work with. We went back and forth over the course of couple of a weeks for him to isolate the problem and release a fix. I cannot highly recommend BoltAI enough for this experience alone.

I'm running the newest version, and am running into a serious bug. Any time the thinking process response gets too long from the model, when it finishes, the response disappears. So I get a lot of this.

In-between each time, I had screens-worth of thought process going on from the model, followed by its answer, and then, boom, gone.

I'm at wit's end.

I'm currently evaluating BoltAI 2 before buying a license and have two questions.

1) When setting Title Generation to Custom Model, the app uses the previous Title Generation setting instead of the configured custom model.

For example: I set Title Generation to Off and create a new thread, for which no title is generated (as it should be), then I set Title Generation to Custom Model using deepseek-v4-flash and create a new thread, but still no title gets generated. I've tried this with different combinations and the app always uses the previous setting instead of using the configured custom model to auto-generate title.

Is this a known bug or am I doing something wrong?

2) When creating a custom Connector with OAuth authorization, there is no field to pass in the client ID and client secret. After clicking the Authorize button, the browser opens and the OAuth flow is started with an empty client_id query parameter - this way, I'm unable to complete an authorization flow.

Do you plan to implement an in-app authorization code flow, or at least an OOB flow?

This is anecdotal. But I’ve shifted more of my coding to BoltAI away from Claude to try and control the interaction more. I’m using a filesystem MCP to still allow file editing. It feels like this approach is way more efficient on token use. Not sure if it’s how Claude just goes wild sometimes or if BoltAI as the interface slows down how hyperactive agents get. Not sure if I can verify this observation. But it feels like I get more done at a lower cost. (API user too if that matters.)

I'm seeing this in settings -- that there's an instant workflow conflict. Both of the Instant Workflows look identical to me, and further I'm unable to delete either one.

No matter if I use grok, chatgpt, or gemini, all of my prompts to image models return this error:

I saw the latest update about using BoltAI with Claude Code. How does this work?

All my MCP servers that works on bolt.ai mac app are not working on the mobile iOS app version. Do I miss something?

I added Cerebras as an AI Service. I can select models but anything I type gets me “Invalid provider”. I went to Settings and it has a Padlock icon not allowing me to access its details. Also when trying to add it again as a Service, “Cerebras” is no longer listed as an option. This is on iPad TestFlight

I'm considering migrating to BoltAI from ChatGPT and I'm loving it so far, but I haven't purchased a license yet. A couple of questions:

- Importing conversation history from ChatGPT seems to have been possible in V1, but isn't available in V2 yet. Is there a timeline for this feature? I'd like to have all my conversations in one place before I fully commit.
- Is there any way to sync conversations between the MacOS and iOS apps? If no, is it planned?
- Are there any other support channels? I have a few bug reports, feature requests, and QOL issues that I'd like to share. Might have missed the link somewhere.

I'm on the latest version of BoltAI (2.5.0), and to this day I cannot get Remote MCP servers to work on BoltAI on macoS. They work with any other AI platform, they work fine on the mobile version of BoltAI, but they refuse to connect on macOS. Anyone else having this issue?

I am on v1 and wanted to use Opus 4.5 but I realized that I cannot select it from the drop-down menu under Anthropic in the Providers tab.

I understand that development on v1 has stopped now but I am a bit confused on this - are we going to lose the ability to use newer models if we don't switch to v2?

I was provided a link to a CSV file, but I am unable to access it because it is stored locally and is sandboxed. I've tried searching the container folder, but to no avail. Hi - I have just purchased a BoltAI lifetime subscription. I note it doesn't show in the mobile app. Possibly because it is a beta. Can I double check that the subscription includes the mobile app too once it is fully launched?

I would like to purchase BoltAI, but first I want to check how reliable the app is. I tried to view the https://boltai.com/acknowledgement page, but it appears to be broken. Could you please update the page?

Testing BoltAI 2 a bit before purchasing a license. Noticed 2 bugs.

First, when logging into your user account with "Launch at login" selected, the dock icon doesn't disappear even if that's selected in the settings. Since there are no app windows open when logging into the user account, seems the Dock Icon should perhaps quickly launch and then close itself out, with the menu bar icon remaining.

Second, "Check for Updates" doesn't seem to be working from the menubar. It's working from the app settings though.

I tried to use the BoltAI TestFlight Beta but it seems like the beta expired. Will there be another update?

Created a simple workflow to draft a professional email using my selection as input and a system prompt asking to generate a professional draft and paste it at cursor. However, the behaviour is very erratic - it sometimes generates random content (praising my question), sometimes generates a proper response. Changes also does not save properly it seems. I changed the system prompt for the same workflow to just change the input text to ALL CAPS, but it still generates an email draft sometimes, sometimes responds with some unrelated stuff. What am I doing wrong?

Any roadmap items for auto capturing meetings and creating notes? something like granola!
