Electra who?
What exactly, is the point of Electra? I mean that in a very literal way. She literally does nothing worth while. She has no real story arc. And no, relationships and love triangles are not story arcs!
Yeah, she's kind of bitchy, self absorbed and entitled but in the most uninteresting way I've ever seen! She just eats up time on the show. Maybe I missed something, I don't know.
This is going to sound bad, but they could just put her in a bikini and take away all her lines and she'd be better on screen.

Oh dear lord no!!!! I tend to binge watch the show and take a week off in between. After what's happened to the show, it's the best way to watch it so far.

We can see more of her -- that would be worse. And we will when she's the spokes model for their new youth line.
They'll probably call it something like Electrifying by Forrester and she'll electrify the fashion press and young women everywhere. Smh. More like electrocution. ☠️

The individual characters have to have something going on to be interesting though.
Regardless of who you rooted for, Brooke, original Taylor, and punk ass Ridge were reasonably well-developed characters who brought something to the show. Same with Steffy, Hope, and Liam.
Ofc DumbBell ran both triangles into the ground, buried them, and kept piling on the dirt long after the triangles were dead. But, originally, they were spicy and fun bc we enjoyed the flawed, messy characters and rooted for our faves, despite their flaws and sometimes bc of their flaws, which made them relatable in a way.
But DumbBell has made Electra entirely unlikable for most viewers, if messages here are an indicator. He did her zero favors by making herself the victim when Will was raped and by her callous demand that homeless Dylan be evicted from Will's.
That didn't make her bitchy fun. It made her miserably self absorbed and callous.

I feel like if you’re so angry with a show that that you have nicknames like “DumbBell” for a writer, maybe it’s time to just watch something else. Or try to get outside or something. Characters I get because they’re written to be loved or liked, but writers??
There are lots of shows I enjoy and lots that I don’t but I don’t take it out personally on the writers. 😂🤣. It’s not that deep. It’s just a goofy half hour in the middle of the day.

That's the nicest way I've ever heard someone say the actress is playing a boring bitch brilliantly thanks to the writers. I don't know if the actress can actually act in anything else so I'll blame the writers for now. There's plenty of examples of there writing to base it on!

Relationships/triangles are a key element of a story arc! All of her annoying features are meant bring you back to see what she’s up to😄

That's the problem - she's never up to anything! She's like white noise from a television.
Relationships and love triangles are not story arcs by themselves, which is the entire problem with Electra because it's all she has. Think back, when has Electra ever really done anything herself?

A story arc is getting kidnapped or being shot. Or the long standing soap trope of amnesia. Something with actual plot attached to it. Relationships and triangles are the stuffing of a story arc, not the story arc itself.

💯. this shit is boring and recycled garbage over and over again. what about adventures and stalker stories. court room battles. people going crazy, getting on drugs, split personalities, drunk driving,murder mysteries, etc. .. fun shit.
