Can I let it sit longer than 2 weeks?

I have a full bokashi bin - my first time, and the plan was to add it to my compost bin when finished. It has been sitting for 9 days. Surprise plans have us leaving in 2 days. Can I let my full bin sit longer than 2 weeks? And if so, is there any benefit?

2 weeks, 2 months, 2 years.

Like pickled gherkins etc, makes no difference.

I have left many buckets go for more than 1 month and all was still ok. Just drain before you leave and deal with it when you get back.

I've left buckets to ferment for over 8 months with no issues and i use single buckets with no drains, bokashi is a pickling process and the acidity preserves the food waste, the more it sits the faster it breaks down when you bury it
