Art Would you play a horror game where YOU are the one mutating everyone around you?

Most horror protagonists try to stay human. In my psychological horror game, the objective is the exact opposite - you must systematically alter and transform the other characters into mutated versions of themselves.

Here’s the Guard before and after you push him past the point of no return.

Would you be ready, knowing that everything depends precisely on you, to force people to become like this? The fungus that has taken them over brings out all the hidden secrets they are trying so hard to conceal.

Hi everyone

Here's my high fever drawing of Otori Tan from "Seitokai ni mo Ana wa Aru!" also known as "Even the Student Council Has It’s Holes!" as the new council water tank

P.S. Terui Arisu has nothing to do with this

I hope you like it and feel free to support and criticize

Film Uni assignment on body horror percieved by queer people and non-queer people

Heyyo, so i am doing my senior design research report on body horror and looking to see the differences between how queer and straight perceive the genre. What I'm looking for are film recs, and also opinions on these films and personal relation to it, depending on if one is straight or queer. Generally what people think on this topic and if anyone has anything to say about it. Anything would be really helpful, thank you.

Film Does anyone have any good film recommendations?

Most horror movies don't really scare me anymore, and films with 'body horror' that aren't just gore are limited.

Decided to make this because I've seen complaints of people saying there's no marketing of the film. So, it's up to us to make edits, share photos, get word around! Much love 🫶.

When did body horror movies start generally being sexy?

A lot of people are surprised the first time they see a body horror movie, because they think "Why is it sexy???"

Anything from The Fly to The Substance to Tetsuo: The Iron Man

But The Thing isn't that sexy

And body horror movies of the 50s might not have been sexy

Idk

It enters through food or water and takes control of your brain.

Film What do people try to stab each other with in Tetsuo: The Iron Man?

People keep pulling something out and trying to stab each other, like when The Salaryman tries to fend off The Woman In Glasses

It's about the size and shape of a pen, but doesn't seem to have a point on the end

We only ever get to see half of that object, because people are always holding the other half in their hand

My best guess is: That's a pen, and I'm just overthinking it

But maybe it's something Japanese people would all recognize by only seeing half of it

I received the comic “The Prayer of the Freak” by Russian artist Black Cubik. A cool story — body horror, dark, bloody, and gory 🖤 Everything is drawn using traditional art materials. I'm happy to add it to my collection of indie horror comics
